See wifi card inside guest

Hi,

My host is Windows 7 and I have a guest on Windows XP. In the virtual machine settings, I've set a bridged connection, selected my wifi card in Name, and selected PCnet-FAST III as the Adapter Type. The Internet is working in my guest, but I see my network card as a wired card, not a wifi card. I supposed this is because the PCnet-FAST III is a wired card. How can I see it as a wireless card.

I want to do this because I would like to be able to change the wifi network I am connected to inside my guest.

Please, may somebody help me ?

Thanks :)

Only way to do this is to have a USB wifi adapter. Using the hosts adapter you are limited to a virtual wired connection.

That's what I thought... and what about the "Paravirtualized Network" ? I didn't really understand what it is, but couldn't it be a solution ?

Paravirtualized is an enhanced driver for virtual networks. It will help with speed but not allow you to access the PCI wifi directly.
