Hello,

What I'm proposing is to do a VirtualBox Database Performance for CPU, GPU and HDD by benchmarking VirtualBox.

Like that users should know which hardware is the most suited to their needs.

******************************************************
VirtualBox Machines Requirements :
- Use the maximum CPU
- Activate 2D and 3D support with 256 Mo
- Use "SATA Controller" and activate "Host I/O Cache"

Benchmarks Used :
- CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1b (1pass + 100Mo = Click all)
- Wprime 2.0.4 (32Mo)
- FurMark 1.9.2(Only use "Benchmark (user's settings))

As soon as I can I will add links.

- Guest = Windows 7 SP1 x64
- Host = Windows 7 SP1 x64

- CrystalDiskMark (Seq.) = Read : 669.5 Mo - Write : 621.6 Mo
- HDD = WD Scorpio Blue 320Go (WD3200BEVT)

- Wprime = 24.242 sec.
- CPU = Intel Core i3-2100

- FurMark = 128 points
- GPU = Intel Graphics HD2000 (Integrated)

Running standard benchmarks inside a VM is a tricky thing to do. Mostly it's a complete waste of time. The only way to time a VM function accurately is with a handheld stopwatch.
