Host: Windows 7 32Bit (SP1)
Guest: Windows XP 32Bit (SP3)
Issue: When I record audio from the guest machine and Line-In isn't muted, the recording picks up audio from both the guest and host OS. However, when I mute Line-In, the recording doesn't pick up audio from either OS. What do I need to do in order to record audio from only the guest OS?

I have no idea what you are talking about. You are recording using the host's mic and the hosts mic-in. The guest has no separate physical audio.
Are you talking about audio which is being sythesized by software inside the guest? If yes then it sounds like the filter chain from synth function to audio out/store includes an unwanted mixing step with line-in. That would seem to be a problem with the guest application that built the filter graph.

I am running the recording software from within the guest OS. The issue is that the recording software is recording audio from both the guest and hosting OS. How can only record the audio from the guest without it picking up the host audio?
