Hi all,

Here is my configuration:
Linux Host (linux mint 12 x64)
vbox 4.1.12
Windows 7 Professionnal guest (x86)
guest additions installed on the guest system
extension pack installed on the host system
shared folders configured with full access to external USB HDD mounted in /media/ZEUS, share named zshare
path \\vboxsvr\zshare (or \\vboxsrv\zshare) doesn't work :'(
I think I tried everything that came to my mind, including googling my question, but no solution :'(

Actually, network \\VBOXSVR doesn't appear at all...

Would appreciate any hint.

I suspect that you have not installed the guest additions properly. Try uninstalling them, then run the installer (inside the guest) manually using "Run as administrator".

EDIT: done. Did work. Thanks a bunch! This did keep my nerves in quite a state for 2 days!
