I am trying to run 16bit software in Windows XP guest session.
I tried to use one dll file (provided by someone else in out company), which was used before on physical install of Windows XP to run that 16 bit software. However in virtualbox it doesn't seem to work yet.
Is anyone able to do that? Or does anyone know how I could run 16bit software in WIndows XP guest session?

Do you have VT-x support on that PC? If so I would try enabling that (in your host BIOS as well as in the VM settings).

Turning on VTx in BIOS helped. Thanks!
I also saw option "Virtualization Technology Directed I/O (Vtd)" in BIOS next to VTx. Do you know what this is for?

vt-d is for accessing certain hardware directly.kdar1987 wrote:Turning on VTx in BIOS helped. Thanks!
