numeric keys on a MAC usb keyboard do not work in Windows XP

I am having problems with the MAC usb keyboard on the Windows virtual box. The numeric keys work on the
MAC OS x side, but do not work on the Windows XP virtual box. What can I do to correct this?

The Windows XP side is using your Mac keyboard as if it was a Windows keyboard. On the Windows keyboard the Num Lock key is were the Clear key is on the Mac keyboard. If you hit the Clear key while in the Windows XP guest you toggle on of off the numeric keys. Have you tried hitting the Clear key to see if the numeric keys work again?
