VirtualBox 4.1.10 - shutdown error

Just installed VirtualBox 4.1.10 on a Mac OSX 10.6.8 Host where I run a WindowsXP SP3 (fully M$ patched). Also installed the "Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.1.10-76795.vbox-extpack" and the "VBoxGuestAdditions_4.1.10". Now when I shutdown the XP vm, I get an error with a OK / Cancel button. The error quickly goes away, how can I findout what this error is to report it?

Thanks

I just found how to screen capture the Mac screen to catch the error from the VirtualBox VM. The error is:

VBoxService.exe - Application Error
The instructions at "0x0041e135" referenced memory at "0x00789428". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program.

It does not matter which button I choose, the VM just powers off.

Thanks

See public ticket 10069.

The public ticket you mention, deals with version 4.1.8. It also speaks to "crashing". My scenario is that when shutting down the Windows XP VM, the error I reported appears. Whether I choose OK or Cancel, or just wait a few short seconds, the VM is off. When powering up the VM again, it powers up as if a successful shutdown had previously occurred.

In addition, at the end of the public tick you mentioned, states:

As of 4.1.10 there should be no more internal pipe buffering in VBoxService.

...which is the version of VirtualBox I am using (see my original post for versions).

Thanks

Sorry, my fault. I actually meant ticket 10326. But you could have found that yourself ;)
