Windows taskbar annoys in seamless mode.

The VirtualBox seamless mode works well (here with Windows 7 x64). But it would be great if VirtualBox would automatically make the taskbar disappear. It looks out of place above the Dock on a Mac OS host.

Is there any chance that this change be made or is it already implemented and I just didn't find the option to set?

If you are referring to the Windows taskbar, then showing or hiding it is a Windows guest option. Right click on it, select Properties, and enable Auto-hide. Then the taskbar only appears when you run mouse over the bottom line of the Windows desktop.

No, that's not what I mean.

When Windows "hides" the taskbar, the taskbar becomes a two-pixel wide line just above the Dock. That is also annoying (and difficult to hit with the mouse). Also, this behaviour is not triggered by VirtualBox but I would have to do it manually whenever I switch between screen modes.

VMware and Parallels let the taskbar disappear completely in seamless mode. That's what I meant.
