Please post log files as zipped attachments, not as images. I can't see the complete error lines in this image.

Well then I have no idea. The critical error message is in German, which I do not read. While I understand the gist of its literal meaning, it's probably technical German with a whole different meaning. I thought it might be saying that the drive is full or write protected. From your last message the drive does not appear to be full. So, either I got the gist of the message entirely wrong, or else the problem is elsewhere: e.g. out of space on the host, or the VDI file has reached the 4GB limit on a FAT32 host filesystem, something like that.

Hello,

after many restarts of the virtual machines and install and deinstall the guest additions the problem is solved - i can install the guest addition.
But i don't know why!
I'am very happy that the virtual machines works now correct.

best regards

I do face the same as Michael. Only difference: even after spending of many hours it doesn't work at all! :(
In Michael's zip means the german message "could not access service db: access locked". ;-)
I don't have this message in my log. I tried with disabled firewall/malware/spyboot etc, too. any help i'd appreciate very much :-)

You mean just restarting the guest a few times and then try reinstalling? How do you uninstall the guest additions when it never really finished would I just delete the oracle/virtual guest additions folder and then try again?
I get error 13 install failed
error 13 pnp install failed
error 000d data is invalid could not install files.

The windows control panel add/remove programs does not show it and the install crashes so it makes sense it would roll back all the changes. It says no previous install found each time I try to install it. I attached my ui log file which does not really say much that helps me.

Post the guests log file (as an attachment).
The log file can be copied from the VBox main manager by right clicking the guest and then show log.
