Hi all, thanks in advance for your help. Okay, so I have a tough situation for my work that I need to work out. I don't know most of the steps I'd have to take, but I'll ask all those questions later if you guys indicate that this can all work out.
Here's the scenario:
I'm a pastor at a church. We're not very tech savvy but I bought an iMac as the upgrade to replace the old PC in our church sanctuary. I'm a regular Mac user and love their stuff. Problem being that we need to keep using a PC-only program called EasyWorship. So before I go to all the trouble of trying to figure out all the ins and outs of running all this stuff, I need to know if it's possible to do what I need to do. If not I'll give up before going any farther and go another route. (But I've already setup VirtualBox and bought and setup Windows 7 on it so hopefully that time/effort/money wasn't a waste).
So basically I need to know...
ARE THESE THINGS POSSIBLE ON VIRTUAL BOX????
-Have sound play to external speaker output, from video running from the Windows I'm running on virtual box
-EasyWorship obviously gives an external video output that I need to be able to use to run a powerpoint type of thing. Will that output still work properly being run from within virtual box?
-Lastly (and I'm guessing this can be easily done I just don't even know the basics yet) I need to be able to easily move files into my virtual Windows easily after putting them on the Mac, usually with a USB stick. Is there a drag and drop type of thing that can somehow be setup?
My tech specs:
-Using a fully up to date iMac: running 10.7.2, processor: 2.7 GHz intel core i5, memory: 4GB MHz DDR3
-running Virtual Box 4.1.8
-on Virtual Box
Hopefully that all makes sense to all of you and I've given enough info. This is really important to our church so any help you can offer would be greatly greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Complex Situation - Will VirtualBox work?
Sound output shouldn't be a problem. Video playback may be a problem, it's hard to say until you try it. I personally would not choose a VM to run media intensive apps, I'd be thinking instead in terms of dual booting (BootCamp). Even better would be if the application worked under Wine.
I would also recommend that you postpone activating your Win7 license for a long as possible, i.e. until you are sure that the hardware setup is what you continue to use.
