- VBox Log
- (73.88 KiB) Downloaded 17 times
Cheers for all your help in advance
Luke

Thank you providing the log file (the screenshot was not necessary). You're trying to run a VM with 3.5GB assigned on a system with under 1.5GB free RAM. The technical term for this is "Bad Idea".
It's not going to work, so don't even try.

thing was it was working fine, up until a few days ago. I hadn't changed any settings. How do I get it back working?
Thanks

See this line in the log file: Host RAM: 4087MB RAM, available: 1534MB
You have to ensure that the VM is assigned less (preferably much less) than the amount of available free RAM. You either increased the number of memory assigned to the VM or for some reason there's now much less free memory available on the host. I can't tell you what really happened or why, but hopefully you might know.

Ok no worries seem to be logging in fine now, changed the allocated RAM.
Thanks for pointing this out to me!

I deleted the unwanted screenshot - no point in wasting space to store it.
