Bios activating virtual machine?

Post by ieye360 »

i installed the software and when i ran it, this is what i get:

VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration has been enabled, but is not operational. Your 64-bit guest will fail to detect a 64-bit CPU and will not be able to boot.

Please ensure that you have enabled VT-x/AMD-V properly in the BIOS of your host computer.

My system is: Asus Sabertooth p67, bios 2302, i7-2600k. I have opened Bios and do not find anything that appears to be "virtualization" or concerning virtual machine settings.
Can anyone walk me through how to set my bios to accept virtualization.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Short of a manual the asus tech support would be the best place to get a fast reply. Not saying someone else with your exact model will come across this ticket but it could be a while.
