Do you have any reason to believe this is a VirtualBox issue? Can you stipulate why?

We have solved the ActiveX problem that we were having.
We needed to register in the RegisterDataBase with the command regsvr32.
We have applied these to Virtual PC and XP Mode.
We have the same error on XPMODE or VIRTUALBOX.
We hare planning to do the same in VirtualBox.

Also , could you tell us what are the pros and cons in using VirtualBox with WINDOWS XP versus the XP Mode.

Which will be the optimum ? Virtual Box with XP Mode or with Windows XP ?

Thank you and best regards,

With "XP Mode" you need at least Windows 7 Professional to run it, but you need no extra XP license.
With VirtualBox you are more flexible. If you change your System for some reason, you can run the same VM without converting it. You can use it on an XP, Vista, 7, Windows Server etc. Host or on Linux, Mac, Solaris...
