I am repeatedly getting "A critical error has occurred while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped." I was getting this repeatedly on a previous VM, thought I must have mussed with it somehow, and built a completely new one. It has crashed in this way three times this afternoon, and all I've been doing is running SQL Server Management Studio. I've attached the most recent VBox.log.
I have a MacPro3,1 (early 2008), 32GB RAM, dual quad-core (2 x 2.8GHz). Using VirtualBox 4.1.10 r76795 with a Win7 x64 guest. Both host and guest are fully patched.
I already have a paid version of VMWare Fusion, and was trying VirtualBox because (a) you play nicer with Windows 8 and (b) you allow > 4 CPUs and > 8 GB of RAM in a guest. But stability is much more important to me than playing with Win 8 and having 16 GB. So if there isn't something easy and obvious from the logs about what I've done to misconfigure my VMs, I'm going to have to consider my little experiment with VirtualBox over for this version.
Appreciate any guidance.

Re: Repeated crashing with Win7 guest
Same here, in this configuration:
*Host: Ubuntu 64bit 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) 4GB
*Guest: Windows 7 32bit 1536MB
Ran good in previous versions, hangs regularly (few times a day) in this version: 4.1.10 r76795 - suspicion that it could have something to do with shared folders between host & guest??
