I updated my MacBook Pro to 10.6.8 and now I'm getting really weird USB problems on my Linux guests (Debian and Mint).
The USB and integrated keyboard work fine during the boot process (GRUB), but as soon as it loads the GUI (gdm3 for Debian) it stops working. The only thing I can do to get the keyboard to work is to select the USB keyboard from the USB devices menu which then requires me to deselect it to use it on the host.
The integrated trackpad and Bluetooth mouth both fail to work completely in the GUI. There's no device to select in the menu and although it shows up on screen and picks up the pointer graphics changes, it does not register clicks. I just installed Mint and the keyboard and mouse both worked fine during the graphical installation process and viewing the live CD desktop, but stopped working when it was fully installed.
Googling only returned results based on installing some third party software _before_ running the 10.6.8 update, but nothing as far as what to do afterwards.
Any ideas?
