The VirtualBox 4.1.10 installer for OS X [1] seems to be packaged incorrectly, in the sense that the VirtualBox.mpkg folder metadata is incorrect to the point that it is not "actionable" by the OS X Finder.
In addition the SHA256 checksum for this download is different from what you have posted [2] so you have probably mangled the process to produce the Installer.
N.b. URIs stripped from my post to get around your forum restriction although I have had an Oracle online ID for over a decade. Get it together ORCL!
