Windows 8 x64 guest

I've installed a windows 8 consumer preview (64 bit version) and it seems pretty flakey with osx as host.
Saving state with a snapshot and restarting works ok, but shutting down the vm and cold starting failed.
the guest OS (being windows) gives absolutely no clue what it thinks is wrong. It happily diagnoses and
checks etc but comes up with no information and no fix to get a normal start.

Windows 8 is bleeding Edge. Its not (fully) supported at the moment. You have to live with this until there is Windows 8 final and/or a VBOX Version which officially supports Windows 8.

In the Windows Guests Area there is a Windows 8 thread. Please use this for further questions.
