Cisco IP Communicator

Post by srtjase »

I've got a Win XP guest running on a Mac Book Pro. In that guest I am trying to run Cisco's IP Communicator software. The application runs and I get application audio (dings/beeps, dial tone, etc) and all other Windows audio, but I do not get audio input or output from my end while on a call, just dead air.

I've been looking for a solution for a few days now, but I can't seem to find much.
There has got to be a VM setting or something that I am missing... maybe a port that needs to be forwarded or something.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

Port forwarding only applies to NAT. Try using bridged networking.
