Which are the default installation paths for VirtualBox in Linux and Windows?
And for the name of executables (I am interested in VBoxWebSrv)? I know it is call VBoxWebSrv.exe in windows, but no idea in linux...

The install locations vary depending on the Distro IE: deb, rpm, OSE, OSE packed & Windows. Plus if compiling you do not add the parm --enable-webservice in your ./configure statement, it will not be built.
