Windos 8 on PC without VT-x

Is it possible to run the Windows 8 Consumer Preview (32 bit) on a machine that does not have VT-x support? I get VT-x errors when I attempt to install Windows 8 CP.
As far as anyone knows (outside of Microsoft), Win8 as a VirtualBox guest requires VT-x or AMD-v.
However, we do not want mushrooming discussion of a guest OS which is currently unsupported because it does not yet officially exist. Hence, further discussion of Win8 matters is restricted to the Windows 8 thread.
