Hello. I am having a problem with an application I'm using since I updated to 4.1.8 r75467. It worked fine with 4.1.4 r74291. Can I just reinstall the earlier version over the later one?

I would ininstall then reinstall, rather than risk problems when overwriting with an older version.

The good news: changes between 4.1.4 and 4.1.8 were minor, so I wouldn't expect any problems with the downgrade (e.g. no changes to file formats or folder layouts).

The bad news: changes between 4.1.4 and 4.1.8 were minor, so I would be curious to know which of those changes stops a guest app from running!

I have a Gemalto SmartCard reader that isn't recognized by Xp running as guest under the new version, but works OK under the old one.
