Trouble moving mouse pointer - Virtualbox+Windows 3.1

Post by GraceBT »

I have finally succeeded in making Windows 3.1 operational
except that I do not see an easy way to get access to my
Windows file system, or a convenient way of importing files.

But the biggest problem is that the mouse pointer is very hard
to move about. It moves very slowly and I suspect some problem
with the Windows drivers in this environment. In any case,
the mouse integration is really bad. By the way, MS-DOS has no
such problem, it is only evident after I start Windows 3.1.

I saw the articles about using svgaptch.exe but I don't know how
to make this file available within the virtual machine. How can
I import this to try to run it in Windows?

I am quite new to using VirtualBox, but have made it work well
in several other cases.

Any help with this problem would be highly appreciated. :D

Thanks for any help that You may be able to offer.
