color mode

Post by Knorpi »

Hi,

when starting my guest, I get the following message:

"The virtual machine window is optimized to work in 32 bit color mode but the virtual display is currently set to 24 bit.
Please open the display properties dialog of the guest OS and select a 32 bit color mode, if it is available, for best possible performance of the virtual video subsystem."

Well, within the display settings in my Windows guest I cannot find where I can set the color mode.
Can you help?

Thanks
Magnus

If you have installed the guest additions (in the guest) and the guest works properly you can dismiss the warning. All screen adjusts will be made using the mouse click & drag or the host keys.
