[4.1.8-Linux HOST/Win7 GUEST]-OpenGL Game Disables Aero?

Hi,

I just got Aero working on my Win 7 guest today,
but when I run an OpenGL game in Win 7 guest Aero is disabled?
(it is reenabled when I exit the OpenGL game)

Any ideas why this is happening?

Running current VirtualBox 4.1.8
on a LinuxMint 12 KDE 64Bit host
and a Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit guest.

I properly installed Windows guest Guest Additions
and Aero does seem to be working until I run an OpenGL game?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Forget 3d in a vm for gaming. Start games native.

But this must not be a vbox problem. Else in native Window there are many programs forcing Windows to choose base scheme when starting.

Hi,

My team and I develop cross-platform open-source 2D video games.
(shameless plug: http://www.16BitSoft.com)
I recently switched to Linux from Windows and use VirtualBox to build the Windows version of the games.

When running the game on Windows 7 natively, Aero is not affected,
but running the game in Windows 7 VM, the Aero is disabled until the game is exited?

Any ideas?
Thanks!
