Hi,
I have an issue with VirtualBox 4.1.8, when I define guest Win7 x32 OS.
I installed Windows 7 Professional SP1, x64 + All Updates as host OS, on this OS I putted VirtualBox 4.1.8 and now I'm trying to install Windows 7 Professional, x32 as guest OS.
I create new virtual machine, define base memory allocation size (3072 MB — maximum for x32 OS) but when I start the installation of guest OS I get critical error alert, that suggest me to stop installation process, if I click on «Ignore», I get the following message:
Error ID: HostMemoryLow
Severity: Non-fatal Error
I checked in Task Manager, I have about 4.5 GB of free RAM, I suppose it must be more than enough to allocate 3072 MB for guest OS.
I attached a log file.
On forum I found ticket about such kind issue, but on the tread is claimed, that issue has been fixed long ago (VirtualBox 2.x).
Could this be because I'm trying to install x32 Guest OS on x64 Host OS?
My hardware & software configuration:
Core i5 2410M, 2.3 GHz; 6 GB RAM; 1 GB Video
Host: Windows 7 Professional SP1, x64 + All Updates
Guest: Windows 7 Professional SP1, x32 + All Updates
VirtualBox 4.1.8
Thanks.

Here is a ticket in Google Chrome's bug-tracker system with complete issue explanation:
— GooglecrashHandler.exe prevents physical memory or system resources allocation for a virtual machine
