windows guest won't boot from gparted live-cd

Hi! I'm new to gparted and want to use it to enlarge the partitions on my windows guest. I've already enlarged the vdi with VBoxManage and verified that it works. I downloaded the iso for 0.11.0-10, burned it to CD, and verified it on my host linux system. I rebooted the host and tried to boot the guest from the live cd. The boot gets past the warnings and the setup of the networks but then bombs out. I'm running Windows 7 x64 on VirtualBox 3.2.12. My host is running Ubuntu 10.04.
