Bringing Over Old File

Post by Gourmetcook4Jesus »

Hello, I just created a virtual box to run Windows XP SP3 on my Windows 7 machine. My W7 machine is 64 bit and thus would not run my old Corel Draw 12 (for which I paid LOTSA dollars! ) which is why I installed the Virtual Box. Windows XP installed nicely on the box, so did Corel Draw 12. Now, the old document I want to edit is on my Windows 7 My documents. I can't seem to find it on the virtual machine, which will not recognize my flash drive, either. How do I find my old file to work on it now?

Install the guest additions (on the guest) then used the shared folders feature of VirtualBox.
See Chapter 4.3 Shared folders in your VirtualBox users manual.
