Hi,

I know this might appear to be a noob question, but I have actually been using Virtualbox for many years, however never used WIndowsXP guest until now and I have noticed this little issue. I have been using Windows 2000 Professional daily before and never had an issue with Cut and Paste. I did search the forum before posting, and the only similar issue was for an older version of VBox, and the mentioned fix was upgrade.

I am using Vbox 4.1.8 running on Windows 7 (64bit) Ultimate host and occasionally cut & paste between guest and host stops working. To fix I kill and restart VBoxTray.exe on the guest and all is well from there on.

Has anyone else noticed this small issue?

Sounds like it could be a memory leak inside the VBoxTray app. Perhaps you should post a proper BugTracker report, with a link to this thread. That would mean signing up for an Oracle SSO (Single Sign On) account, i.e. bugtracker is currently separate from these forums.
