Windows 7 via Bootcamp

I have followed the directions exactly and tried several times but when I point to the Bootcamp partition (partition 4 - I am on a new macbook air Lion 10.7.2 and I am SURE I am creating the vmdk file using the correct partition) when I create the new virtual machine within virtualbox, the size of the virtual disk is incorrect. It is not the bootcamp partition. It is the size of my recover partition and my main OS X partition. Any suggestions?
