Hello
Am a newbie to Virtual Box ..
Does Virtual Box for Windows host require a x64-based processor, hardware-assisted virtualization, and hardware data execution protection ?
Is there a chip compatibility list ?
Thanks

If you want to run 64-bit guests the processor and bios must support VT-x/AMD-v and be enabled.
If you do not have this you can still run 32-bit OSes.

I have the same issue as well. Running on Intel chipset with 64bit AMD version of virtualbox. It does work, but there's a alot og things are broken. It got worse untill installation of the expansionpack. Thats why I ended up here, and that is the good news. Because Ive just pastet the error-message in google like in raw format pastebin about 10 times now, with different issues, and everytime there is someone that has an answer to it. I go back to virtualbox and Ubuntu. Even if the computer explodes, Im sure there is a solution to that as well. Thanks!
