I'm using virtualbox portable (4.1.6) and while it seemed to work fine about 4 hours ago, now virtualbox portable wont start. It does not load the interface; however, the icon goes to the system tray and is unclickable. I tried the VB portable installiation on my friends windows vista machine and it works FINE. I also tried it in WINE under my ubuntu installation and it started up (although it could not find the debian virtual disk).
I've tried reinstalling the VB portable software many times, and it I can't even get the install screen to come up anymore! The same thing happens, the icon goes to the system tray and nothing happens. I've ran windows start up repair, used system restore, and googled for hours.
I have no clue what to do now, I'm hoping you guys can help me.
Just so we're clear, I'm running a Windows 7 host and a debian wheezy guest.
