Host: Windows XP SP3 32-Bit / ASUS Sabertooth 990FX MB / Corsair Vengeance C7 8gb DDR3 / ASUS EN560TI 830mhz/2200mhz 1260mb VC / etc
Guests:
Ubuntu 11.10
Mint
OpenSuSe
Mandriva
Windows 7
Windows XP

VirtualBox: 4.1.8 & 4.1.6

Issue: Recently upgraded to 4.1.8. 3d Acceleration grayed out; No 3d acceleration enabled in any guests. 3d Acceleration in all guests works perfectly in 4.1.6. I've read all the topics / bug trackers relating to this issue.
Bug #10071 relates to a file that supposedly resolves this issue. (VirtualBox-2012-01-10-15-09-10-win-4.1-rel-4.1.9-r75618-MultiArch.exe)

Link appears broken in posts, however, tried going back to /download and /download/testcase, cannot locate file.
If the issue has been resolved with this file, would someone post a working link in this thread or sticky?

I've been using VBox for years, I just signed up to post this one topic, however. Evidently I cannot post with a link attached so i've removed related links to post.
Thank you.

I have requested that they add the file again. After two weeks the files are removed from the downloads. Government restriction I am told.
Watch this for changes. https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/10071#comment:23

Thank you.
Any update on this? I've checked the Bug Check link twice a day and still nothing. Any word on what the status of that file is, or could someone else who has the installer for 4.1.9 file post it?

I don't have that answer but it may be that they are going to release an update soon or the file no longer exists. 4.1.8 was released on 12.19 so the next upgrade is due.
