USB Not Recognized on Mac OS X

Post by jay_agno »

Just like the title said, my usb is not being recognized.

Before it was being recognized, but I just did these steps, and my usb is not anymore being recognized.

1. Open VirtualBox
2. Clicked Settings
3. Ports > USB
4. In USB Device Filters, I added a "New Filter 1"
5. I run my Vista using VirtualBox, (I was because now I was able to make my Vista recognized my USBs)
6. Turn off Vista, but VB is still on
7. removed USB, then plugged it again.
8. Now my mac doesn't recognized anymore the USB, also other USBs!!!!!!! T_T

Here are the list of things that I tried:
1. Restart mac (still no effect)
2. Removed the "New Filter 1" (still no effect)

Please help me. :'(
I really don't know what to do.

Two options:
1. Stop/Quit VB; and the drive will be released; and OS X will mount it.
2. In the vm, eject the drive before shutting down
