Today my associates and i encountered a problem while transfering our entire server from VMWare v2.01 to Virtualbox v4.1.8 and with the one .vmdk. We tried to load a back-up of the servers because the main file is a very outdated version. When we load the Back-up we get an error that reads (FATAL: No bootable medium found System halted) after a while of Searching and toying with the settings still no results. Along with this when we put the guest operating systems .iso to be loaded it causes a blue screen. Can someone please help with this and help us find a solution, your assistance would be appreciated.

Firstly post infos instead of "does not work".
The log file (VBIOX GUI, Guest, right mouse button).
If you have the old vmx-file, post this too.
Some of the mostly reasons that this does not work are the disc controller settings.
Probably in VMWARE it was SCSCI and now its IDE. Or its SATA. Or you can try change from PIIX3 to PIIX4 or backwards.

"No bootable medium" means what it says: according to the virtual BIOS, none of the attached disks contains a bootable OS. This would mean that the vmdk image you migrated is either not migrated correctly (missing snapshots?), or was never a bootable disk.
