RAM allocation in osx

Post by eyeman »

Hi All

I am running a Windows 7 VM on a OSX Lion host. What would be a good RAM setting on the Vbox System setting (I have 8Gb of RAM on the Mac. Is there anythhing I need to set on the Mac host to allot RAm for the VM?

Thanks

Check the OS hardware requirements to have an idea of how much RAM you should give the VM. You're free to give it as much as you want, as long as you don't give it more than the Host has left.
