Ubuntu 12.04 alpha 1
just a comment here. Unity 3D works like a charm in Ubuntu 12.04 although it doesn't in Ubuntu 11.10. Go figure.

Re: Ubuntu 12.04 alpha 1
Note, as per the comments on the bug https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/9863, Unity 3D works if you disable Nautilus from handling the desktop. I suspect a bug in Unity 4.X so I guess that installing Unity 5.0 on Ubuntu 11.10 (http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2012/01/how- ... ntu-11-10/) would also provide a workaround?loukingjr wrote:just a comment here. Re: Ubuntu 12.04 alpha 1
thanks for the info. I gave up on 11.10 before someone found the fix it seems. now I just have to decide if I want to reinstall 11.10 or not seeing 12.04 w/Unity 5 seems very stable for an alpha release.bulletmark wrote:Note, as per the comments on the bug https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/9863, Unity 3D works if you disable Nautilus from handling the desktop.
