XP internet

hello,

i have a very bad english.
I have windows xp guest on linux ubuntu 11.10
my problem is then i run my virtual XP, firefix or IE or Safary don't sea connxions, but avast sea connexion and the fire wall sea connexion .
I'have shutdown firefawll on xp and ubuntu, i have shutdown avast... nothing
i'have VBox on "nat"

Try following approach:

On the host in a command line: "ping www.google.com"

This shows you an IP-Adress.

In the guest enter this IP-Adress in a browser.

What happens?

it's ok if i enter this IP-adress in firefox.

If the site loads with the ip-adress, than you have an dns-problem.

Possible solution: Use ip from your router as dns-server in the guests network settings.
