OS Lion, track pad and Virtual Box

I am finding that the trackpad does not work as intended in virtual box. It works normally in parallels however. In VM, when you tap the pad to click on something, you have to move your finger slightly before anything happens, otherwise it just freezes.
Anyone else find this, or better still, find a fix for it?
Thanks,
Dr. S.

I am experiencing the same issue. Host is Mac OSX Lion, Magic Trackpad, VB 4.1.8, Windows XP guest OS. Has anyone resolved this?

I found a solution, sort of. In the VB settings for the Windows VM, select the system tab and uncheck "Enable absolute pointing device" in the extended features. I did this, and so far the trackpad touch clicks seem to behaving correctly. The drawback is that it now wants me to click in the VM to capture the mouse and hit the host key to return control to the host.
If anyone finds a better solution, please share.

None of you have installed the Guest Additions for better mouse integration?

Thanks Sasquatch. I thought the guest additions were only for things like 3D support. This was my first experience with VB. i installed the guest additions and it seems to have resolved the issue.

It is not overtly obvious to install the guest additions from the installation process and/or manual. Nonetheless, I did install them, and you get two birds with one stone. It resolved the problem with the track pad and also makes the display fit the large Apple monitor much better.
