Hi,

I am using Ubuntu host and puppy linux guest. I also have a remote Win 2003 Server VPS.

What I would like to do is have the guest connect to the internet through the VPS. ie I would like the guest get its IP from the 2003 server and send all traffic through the server.

I really don't know what I'm looking for, but is this possible? What would it be called? And any links for a how-to would be awesome.

Any ideas?

This is not really a VirtualBox question, but more a networking one.

If all the computers (including your virtual one) are on the same network, you can just enable the 'Allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection' on your Windows server.
A better way (which would be more secure) is to create a proxy server on your Windows machine and then connect to that.

So if I set up a proxy on the VPS I could route all the VM traffic through that?

I will look for some more info now that I think I know what I'm looking for
