unable to open ANY VM (get an error every time)

I keep getting the following error when I try to open ANY VM

the following error reads:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine: Human Moltres (or whatever VM I open)
No error info


in the details I copy and pasted the following

Try uninstalling VirtualBox completely, and then reinstalling. You will not lose your VMs.
