All this time my system becomes terribly slow when I have both VB (now 4.1.8 but the same in earlier versions) and Lotus Notes (8.5.3 Standard Configuration, but same with earlier versions) running on Mac OS X.
The guest operating system I'm running is Windows 7 (but previously it was XP and I had the same problem). N.B.: I am NOT using Lotus Notes IN the guest!
"Slow" = what normally happens in a split second or a second or 2 does now take 10, 20, 30 or more seconds in Mac OS X.
Mac: 4 GB
I have tried all kinds of settings. Not to much memory for the guest seems to work best (ca. 1024 kB) but does not really influence this problem.
Also tried to turn on/off VT-X
Using host I/O cache.
As far as I can see this is not a known issue / ticket yet but I'm not a computer technician.
Can anyone confirm this behavior or rather give me a solution
