how to increase size of vhd (Disk size) in VM Box
Hi Can any one tell me how to increase VHD (Disk size ) in VMBox. I am not able to understand. why thing is so complex in VMBox.

The CloneVDI tool (see sticky in "Windows Hosts" forum) can enlarge your drive.
Or, see "VBoxManage modifyhd --resize" as documented in your VBox user manual. Don't use this if the VM is a linked clone or uses an immutable drive or uses snapshots.
And to meet the inevitable next question: the latter command enlarges just your drive. You would then need to use DiskPart or other partition manager tool to adjust the guest filesystem (a.k.a partition) to encompass the whole of the new drive. Enlarging a drive does not automatically give you more filesystem space, any more than buying your neighbours land automatically gives you a bigger house.
