Hi,
I installed Win7 64 guest on Centos 5.7 64bit (virtualBox 4.1.8) , HP DL580 G7 hardware.
Network is too slow (3Mbit/s) ???? configured bridged and hostonly modes but it's no changed.
WinXP and SCO Unixware 7.1.4 running 100Mbit and there's no problem. But Win7 64 is so slow.

Configured Win7-64 network card is "Intel PRO/100 MT 82540EM" (Guest see 1Gbit connection)
Configured XP and SCO network cards is "PCNET Fast III Am 79C973" (Guests see 100Mbit connection)

Host OS CentOS 5.7 64bit is full upgrated, and Virtualbox is lasted version.

What is the issue?

I find the VirtIO to be the fastest.
Drivers are here http://www.oracle.com/us/technologies/v ... 66470.html

Thanks for answer,
I tested guest "windows 2003 server 32bit" and there is no problem.I could not find the driver for win7 64? Oracle site is too complex.
Is there a link for direct download driver?

So I think no solution for this problem?

I did another experiment with win2003 guest, when I updated (from MS internet) to SP2 then network card driver for Am79C973 did not work.
But it was running before update.

Is the Xen stable then virtualbox? I was installated last year, to DL380 G7, Centos 64bit host and Win7-64bit system running Xen, everything is running without problem?

Best regards....
