Windows Server R2 OS with VB? Anyone? Buler Buler?

Hello,
mass confusion here but I'll dig down deeper so don't hate me. I like instant gratis like everyone else besides I found this site on Microsoft board regarding limitations of cores with hyper V so Wil I am......
Can I install this on Windows Server R2 X64bit system already using Hyper V?
I have my Hyper V setup ISO backed up but only 4 cores can suck it when I need computing power. I do back testing which takes too long with 4 cores. I've used server clusters with 96 3 +speed cores but my electric bill is a major problem hence VB use. Since I only need it for a few mins every day no need to waste $$$ in clusters mode or play with solar winds.
I run Algos in my Guests OS which is Windows 8 x64. much better OS with half the calories but its the same.... and there is a memory leak as my Ram gets gobbled up somewhere.
I would appreciate any feedback as tomorrow I will take the plunge but I see Windows 8 problems here. Is it resolved?
Ready Fire Aim.
