From Virtualbox to Mac desktop?

I have some scans I have done in Windows XP through Virtualbox but need to print them on my printer which will not work on Windows. How can I transfer the files over to my Mac desktop so I can print them. Can anyone help please?

Read the manual. Topics "guest additions" and "shared folders".

Thank you I have it working now, both the Mac and Windows are set up okay.
