Hi,
I hope I have translated the message "Datenverlust beim Schreiben" correctly to English. I use VirtualBox 4.1.8 under openSUSE 12.1, my guest system is Windows XP Prof. In most cases when I try to copy some files from the guest to the host (by file manager or copy command) I get the error message mentioned above. It is especially true when copying larger files (a few MB). The error was also in 4.1.6.
Can anybody help?
Peter

Re: Data loss while writing
What means "installed well"? I re-installed the guest additions and the problem seems to have disappeared. Thank you!MasterKGB wrote:how about are guest additions installed well
After updating VirtualBox and the Extension Pack to 4.1.6 (?) and then to 4.1.8 I had not updated the guest additions.
