Aero problem with WDDM

Post by Jimmy123 »

hi everyone,

i am a big fan of virtualbox and use it often
recently i installed 4.1.8 on my windows 7 64bit PC with my NVIDIA graphics card GTX 560
i installed as guest OS windows 7 32 bit
of course i tried installing the WDDM driver and tried to get aero working
it does, but not very stable
i lost the mini toolbar in the guest OS when i start up the VM
i have installed the most recent NVIDIA drivers on the host
i use in the guest 3,5 GB ram and 256 MB of video memory

can anyone help ?
thanks

I'm locking this thread, because you're cross-posting.

The mini-toolbar should show up when you hover the mouse over the place where it is set to be, top or bottom. If you have disabled the toolbar in the VM settings, then you need to enable it again.
