Bluescreens with VirtualBox 4.1.6
Posted: 28. Dec 2011, 21:12
Hi,
I was using VirtualBox 4.0.12 for a longer time without problems. The host is a notebook with Windows XP SP3.
A few weeks ago I updated to VirtualBox 4.1.6. Since then I had two crashes of the host with a Bluescreen. It happened both times when I shutdown one special guest. This guest is a Windows XP SP3 with a Truecrypt 6.3a partition.
I uninstalled the guest additions in every guest and then I uninstalled VirtualBox 4.1.6. After that I installed VirtualBox 4.0.12 again (and the guest additions) and everything works fine.
Is this a know problem of VirtualBox 4.1.6?
This is the Bluescreen that I recovered with the small tool BlueScreenView
