Hi
I'm running a Windows XP guest on an Ubuntu box, and I have a question:-

Can I get more than one monitor on XP?

If I can do this I will mean I can VJ (live-mix video) on new years eve with a much faster laptop.

Thanks in advance!

PS I'm not super techie, and I'm new to virtualbox.

You should have read the User Manual first, it's described there.

But, if you require some fancy effects and whatnot with 3D and such, then I suggest you test things properly before diving into the deep, because a VM will not perform that well as bare metal.

Ok- after a while of searching I've found the display settings, but they're all greyed out so I can't press anything. I have set up the Guest Additions. Any idea why this might be?

Search again for "monitor' ;). Chapter 3.5, Configuring Virtual Machines - Display Settings.
