OSX Lion 32-bit and Vbox

I recently had difficulty switching from LIon 64-bit to 32-bit, on my new Macbook Pro. After a lengthy discussion with an upper level Apple technician, he suggested that some of the Vbox settings in the current Library/startupitems were interfering with the proper booting of the 32-bit Lion. We moved the Virtualbox folder out of the Library/startupitem, and were then successful in booting into Lion 32-bit. When I attempted to run my Vbox Win7 guest, I got an error msg :
Failed to open a session to the VM...
NS_Error_Failure (0x8004005)
then
Insecure start up item disabled
/library/startupitems/Virtualbox
has not been started because it does not have the proper security settings
then
Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)
I reinstalled the Vbox 4.1.8 and the VM worked fine. After shutting down and later starting up, the same error msgs were noticed, again solved by reinstalling Vbox. Any ideas of what I need to do to prevent this repetitive msg? And avoid the need to keep reinstalling Vbox
Thanks in advance
